Jubilant!

Jubilant! is a free mini festival that takes place in Stowmarket to celebrate the creativity of local school children and young people. Over several weeks, a specially commissioned team of talented artists work with students from 10 local schools to build their own creative project.

The Design Quarter was one of the hosting venues of the festival where the theme for 2023 was ‘Tomorrow’. Workshops covered themes including interactive story books, flash mob performances, ceramic sculptures, stop motion animations, portraiture, song writing, and podcasts. Each one was exhibited at a different cultural venue in Stowmarket as a celebration of the young people’s creativity and ideas.
